The event
Wendy Shearer will be based at Chelsea Physic Garden on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September. She will be telling interactive stories based on African and Caribbean folktales that celebrate plants and nature.

The performer
Wendy Shearer is a professional storyteller and author who brings stories from her African and Caribbean heritage to life. Her participatory style encourages all ages (from babies upwards) to get involved.
Wendy is the author of three books: African and Caribbean Folktales, Myths and Legends; Bedtime Stories: Beautiful Black Tales from the Past; and Caribbean Folktales: Stories from the Islands and the Windrush Generation.
