About the event

Garden historian Deborah Trentham delves deep into the fascinating history of gardens by examining plant movement and its colonial past.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A with the public.

Access to the Gallery is via a narrow flight of stairs. Unfortunately, the room is not wheelchair accessible.

About the speaker

Deborah Trentham has been teaching garden history for 20 years. She was the Historic Gardens judge for the Society of Garden Designers Awards for five years and has published numerous articles in magazines and periodicals.

Her book, Botanic Gardens of the World, is due to be published in September 2023.
