About the tour

This exciting tour explores Chelsea’s historic highlights, including London’s oldest botanic garden, former palaces and a 17th-century retirement home.
The tour starts and ends at the National Army Museum. It will last around 90 minutes.
About the guide
Emily Laurence Baker is a journalist, author and Blue Badge Guide, who has lived in central London since 1991. She regularly takes small groups on personalised walking tours and as a Chelsea local she loves sharing her neighbourhood’s history with others. Her dual nationality equals dual perspective, seeing London with the enthusiasm of a newcomer but with the added wisdom of a local.
