About the event
Covering over 2,000km on foot, David Taylor-Smith travelled the length of the UK, from the Scilly Isles in the south to the Shetlands in the north. His mission was to learn more about the country and the people who live here, and to gain a better understanding of our collective identity.
In this beautifully illustrated talk, David will examine the environmental and man-made factors that have shaped the nation, and share his conclusions on what it means to be British today.
