About the event

The name Noel Coward conjures images of theatrics, audiences in rapturous laughter, and timeless and catchy musical numbers. He is regarded as one of the greatest multitalented artists of his age and his legacy can still be felt today.

Yet there is more to Coward than his artistic works. A complex and radical figure, he also experienced a hair-raising wartime career working with the British Secret Service.

In conversation with playwright Marcy Kahan, Oliver Soden explores how this famous Chelsea resident rose from humble working-class origins to become the most highly paid author in the world.

Access to the Gallery is via a narrow flight of stairs. Unfortunately, the room is not wheelchair accessible.
